Welcome to the Summer Edition of House Hunting with Humphrey! As we dive into the sunny season, I want to address some key points about the current real estate market and why now is still a great time to become a homeowner in San Diego.
Interest Rates and Home Prices
Interest rates are currently hovering around 7%, with minor fluctuations expected in the near future. While this might seem daunting, buyers have adapted to this new normal, and it’s important to note that these rates are not impacting home prices in San Diego. In fact, home prices continue to rise both month over month and week over week.
Don't Let Interest Rates Deter You
It’s easy to feel discouraged by higher interest rates, but don’t let them deter you from achieving your dream of homeownership this summer. With the right strategy, you can still secure a great deal and a comfortable mortgage payment. I can help you put together a customized plan that includes an interest rate buy-down if necessary, ensuring you’re in a home you love with a payment you can manage.
How I Can Help
I pride myself on securing amazing wins for all my buyers, and I’m committed to doing the same for you. Here’s how we can make it happen:
Personalized Consultation: Let’s schedule a time to meet for coffee. During our meeting, I’ll walk you through the entire home buying process, so you feel confident and informed every step of the way.
Understanding Your Needs: I’ll take the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for in a home. Whether it’s a cozy bungalow or a spacious family house, we’ll identify your must-haves and nice-to-haves.
Customized Plan: Together, we’ll create a customized plan that fits your financial situation and homeownership goals. This includes exploring options for interest rate buy-downs and other financial strategies to ensure you’re comfortable with your mortgage payment.
Finding Your Dream Home: With a clear plan in place, I’ll help you find a wonderful home that meets your criteria and exceeds your expectations. My goal is to have you settled into your new home before the end of the summer.
